It has come to my attention that perhaps I am not following proper Blogger Etiquette.
Do you respond to all your comments via email?
Do you get disheartened if you don't receive an email reply to a comment you left?
I was not aware that this was common practice.
I never check my email, it just piles up and piles up! Instead I check my comments through blogger.
I try really hard to visit the blog of anyone who comments and thank them for stopping by. I also try to keep updated with all my followers happenings.
Is this enough? or do I need to try harder?
I would love to know what your thoughts are on the matter. I hope noone thinks I am a blog snob. Each comment thrills me to bits, and every follower is precious to me.
So tell me what you think!

I think you should just have a giveaway. Sorry what was the question? giggles*
No, no and no.
Do what you like and what you have time for and what makes you comfortable. But then you shouyldn't ask me because I don't like etiquette.
Oh and I agree with Wendy, giveaway! My girls would look SO cute in your bikinis. X
If you respond to everything you will go mad because you won't have time to do anything else. I think just the occasional email response is nice.
Sorry couldn't find your email. The kids bought the eggs inside and once they had handled them the bird wouldn't sit on them again. So unintentionally the eggs got cold which was such a shame for such pretty eggs. Sorry to confuse you. I didn't want you to think we were heartless baby bird killers.
I'm not into etiquette either. haha. And I think you have replied to some of my comments and acknowledged my presence as a reader and personally I think that is all we should need to do. Sometimes one wonders about replies because what can you say? "Thankyou"? Well that is nice but I think we should expect that bloggers appreciate comments on their blogs anyway without putting busy people out to have to say so to every comment. I haven't found anything the least bit snobby about you. I would say just keep going as you are and you will find your "niche" in the blogging community with others who have the same standards. If people need to de-follow then I think they could just have a problem within themselves. Cherrie
I don't expect replies to my comments. I make comments on blogs because I like it when people comment on mine.
I agree with Jelly Bean.
Although I try to look at peoples blogs that have left me comments and comment if I feel its appropriate. Not just to say thank you but because I would have commented anyway. If its not worth commenting on their blog I don't!
I also reply to comments on my own blog and I am never sure if anyone actually ever see those!
I'm sure there are people who are using their blogs for very strategic marketing purposes would say there are rules that you should follow if you want to maximise x, y and z. They are probably right, but it depends on what you are after.
By the way - love your bikinis!
oh gosh, what a lovely post, also curious here. I have never been sure myself. I am not sure that people go back to their comments on my blog, I just don't think there is time? Oh gosh, I don't even know what I am saying. I love getting comments on my posts, I never ever thought I would have met so many inspiring and creative people through blogging. New comments on my posts, I do visit, because I am curious about what inspired them of my blog, however, I don't feel pressured to follow them in return. Although most of them I am following because I just love their blog too. I love what 'the textured leaf' replied. it gave me the giggles. I totally agree with Cherie from willy wagtail. I love your blog and I love your honesty.
Goodness, no expectations on personal replies, geesh, who has the time, people who love you should just follow, comment, be happy. Unless something calls for personal attention, otherwise . . . onto the next blog post, da dah!! Love Posie
I sometimes wonder if I am being a little annoying leaving comments, but ... I'll keep doing it! If I like your work, I'm going to tell you! Any feedback is better than none!
