This pigeon pair of cotton bikinis will soon be on their way to Kirsty.

Believe it or not this pink and red fabric by Joel Dewberry sold out before it even arrived.

I have enough of this orange damask Joel Dewberry cotton for one more pair.

Let me know if you are interested via email monetpaisley(at)hotmail(dot)com

I am ordering more fabrics in the next few days and will let everyone know what will be available shortly.

Anyone have any favourite fabrics they would particularly like a bikini in? Now is the time to let me know...

Tea for Two

I am so excited about my latest etsy purchase.

Check this out.

At first I thought it was just a lovely vignette....

But it is actually a tray!

How divine!

I am a long-time follower of Dottieangel aka Tif Fussel.

I love her writing, I love her style and I am sure I will love this tray.

Miss Tif has recently become published in a glorious book I hope to get my hands on tres soon. If you haven't heard of Dottie angel before, be sure to see what all the fuss is about here and do check out the amazing lovlies in her very own etsy store.

Loving you all... and loving my new tea tray.... that may become wall art.... or may stay a tea tray....

Shop Update

I have just managed to list three bikinis in my etsy store.... from my phone.

I went to my Dad's yesterday and uploaded my photos to a picas web album. I then accessed them via the picas app on my phone and saved them to my ad card. Only problem is that my phone has applied a vintage finish to some of the photos and they are the only ones that etsy would let me upload. I will replace the photos when I get a new computer.

Check out my Etsy and let me know what you think.

On a Roll...

I have been sewing for a few hours at night and have been surprised by how much I have accomplished.

Lastnight I sewed up three bikinis that I had cut out last season. I surprised myself with the speed at which I completed these.

The first pair I finished was a size xs (0-2) exactly the same as this bikini. It is material from a lovely soft vintage sheet and there is a tiny floral print in browny-green and lovely soft pink tones.

The next bikini hot off the press is a size m (4-6). It is the same as this one. Made from quilting weight craft cotton.

The last bikini I finished last-night was also a size m (4-6). It is the same as this one. It is a glorious vintage fabric that was given to me by a lovely friend. It has a really lustrous sheen and features amazing blue birds... sooo wonderful!

These three swimsuits will hopefully be photographed today and added to my Etsy store. Prices will be at last years price because technically these are last years stock. So if you are interested and want to bag a bargain let me know.

In other news I completed these three little bikinis two nights ago.

Sorry about the dodgy phone picture... I swear i've organised to get a real computer soon...

Anyway, these three little babies are made from this Amy Butler fabric,

and are headed to Kiddyshack where they will be sold at trunkshows in the Brisbane area. What is a trunkshow? Check it out here.

Thanks for listening (or reading rather), I think I am definitely on a roll... I hope I can keep up the pace...

My Creative Space

I realise we are supposed to post our creative space on Thursdays but I have been so busy creating that I haven't had time.

Firstly let's talk about the latest lot of Bikinis I have cut out. I have my first wholesale order for the season and it's got me excited. I am currently cutting into this gorgeous Amy Butler fabric from her Soul Blossoms Range.

We will talk more about where the bikinis are going to in my next post, but for now let me update you on what else I have been up to...

I have sandwiched and quilted this quilt top I made almost a year ago.

I just have to bind it, ( I have no idea what fabric to use...) and then I will take some lovely photos outdoors with my real camera.... and then find a real computer.... so as to do a real blog post....
