Some French Inspiration

Doing a spot of reading this afternnon.

I have learnt a little about French fabric design and history.

I love this traditional French Provencal cotton by La Souleiado

You can still purchase this print in a range of colours and it is quite affordable.

I love these chairs.  My parents have some reproduction ones from a place that specialised in reproduction French Provencal furniture. Not sure if the company is still around.

Another glorious French Provencal cotton.

Wouldn't you love to have a picnic on this cherry-patterned boutis (from what I can tell it's a quilt)

That's what I am up to this rainy Saturday Afternoon.  What about you?

(the pictures are all photographs from Pierre Deux's French Country)

Its like you read my mind! You appear to grasp a lot about this,
such as you wrote the e-book in it or something.

I think that you could do with some p.c. to power the message house a little bit,
but instead of that, that is wonderful blog. A fantastic read.

I will definitely be back.

This design is wicked! You definitely know how to keep a reader entertained.

Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost.
..HaHa!) Fantastic job. I really loved what you had to say, and
more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
