Questions for knitters...

I have some questions for those of you who knit....
I will keep it brief cause it's a killer typing on this phone.
Is it advisable to wear some form of protective headwear while knitting???
The reason I ask is because I find myself regularly adding human hair to the composition of my knitted item.  Is that just too gross?
If you purchased a hand-knitted item and found a stray hair, would you send it back... A la cafe meal?
Should knitted items be labelled 99.9% wool 0.1% human hair?
That's it for now, just some random thoughts buzzing around in my head while I knit my husbands jumper... More about that next time...
P.S. That is Monet in the picture, she has learned to knit and is quite the little trooper.  Good rainy day activity for the school holidays me thinks!

Are you leaving your wool to roll around on the floor as it seems Monet is doing? This would be why you are gathering hair. Kootoyoo has a great little tutorial for a wool storer or alternately you can squeeze your ball through the opening of a tissue box and pull the wool back through there as you knit. I doubt it is coming off your head unless you have a severe case of alopaecia, which can happen after a really bad fever.Cherrie

Ha! Me too, me too!
I often think that I had better not commit some sort of awful crime because I am leaving my dna everywhere I go.

She looks quite at home with the needles. I don't think I would care if I found a hair here or there... maybe do a scan over when you finish a piece to pull out any noticable hairs... lol!
