New Beginnings...

I seriously hope that my next post does not take so long...

I have been sitting here for hours trying to upload my first post only to have it all disappear.

Anyway, let's get to the point. I am here to showcase my crafts in hope that it motivates me to actually complete them. I know that I mustn't be alone. I am sure there are more of you just like me...

You think of something absoloutly inspiring and must start straight away... then as it begins to develop, its not quite as you pictured it. Soooo, you only pick it up now and then...and then you come up with some other fantastic idea and deposit the unfnished object into whatever recepticle you have reserved for such UFO's.

So here is what I started today...

It's a pillowcase dress but it's not made from a pillowcase. I purchased some linen and some twill tape and intended to embroider a peony or rose in black in the bottom left corner. Instead, my little munchkin talked me into a love-heart and her name... all that's left to finish is the embroidery, but that is usually where I fall down...

I also started one of these lovely dolls. I have made one as a baby-shower gift before, but failed to take any photos. I hope this one is just as perfect. More photos of my progress in a few days.

'till then....aureviour...

Hello Elisha,
Ive been checking in on you every now and then, and so.... was on tonight, and found you have done something wonderful today! Your girls have very specific taste and know exactly how they want their creations to look. Im sure youll get around to finishing it in true french style at a later date (perhaps while they are fast asleep one night) x
