Here are the fabrics that I have chosen for my quilt. My focus was coral pink, light blue, and gingham. While searching for the correct neutral fabric I was suddenly inspired to use denim. Has anyone used denim before??? I hope it works okay...
Hopefully it will make a lovely play rug for the baby girl we are expecting in March. I am keen to start cutting out my squares and rectangles but am waiting on further instructions from this talented lady. Until then I shall continue binding bunny rugs and think about painting the bedrooms...
Unfortunately my sister in law will have to wait for hers, I think that tackling two quilts is a bit much for my in my current condition...

Let's Get Quilting...
Been wanting to make a quilt for myself and my sister in law before our babies are born but haven't managed to find the needed inspiration yet.
It's official, I have found the inspiration. My friend linked to this and I intend to join, don't know how I will go tackling two at once though...
Now to choose colours and go shopping...yay!!!

Some Sunday Crafting
On Sunday I went to visit my lovely friend "The Textured Leaf". We spent a leisurely afternoon by the pool, but managed to find some time later on for some quick crafting. I used this method to attach some hand made bias binding to some squares of flannel. The result was some gorgeous little bunny rugs. These are a gift for my cousin who is expecting a baby girl 5 days before me. I will have to make some more for myself.
In the background is a cute change table that my mother in law found at the local oppy. It is one of those folding ones with the vinyl sling. I just love the bunnikins inspired print.
