A Theory of Firsts

I have a theory.....

First time craft projects are like first pancakes......

They never work!

So try, try again.

And this....


can become this.....


and this.....


and this....


You know how the first pancake is never quite right??  don't you??

That means there is definitely hope for this....


I don't mean the baby.... I mean the t-shirt.

Remember... Pancakes....

    oh this is SO true! So very, very true. My first owl was my first pancake, 14 owls later proves it too. *giggle* I so love your blog, you have a lovely way with words.

    What a great post. I just love it. You inspire me to sew again. I always get so annoyed when things don't turn out right, but I guess I need to be more patient, because with practice you keep getting better. Can't wait to make my own quilt.

    Always a good thing to look how far you have come from your first attempt at any project after you have made a few :)
